Petit Fetes

At Fête + Flora, we are always looking for new, creative ways to meet the needs of our clients. We are proud to announce a new category to our services, Petit Fêtes, meaning small parties or events. This is what most people are calling Micro or Mini Weddings, but what is that exactly?
A Micro wedding allows for a short time, roughly 2 hours start to finish, for the bride and groom to have the ceremony, first dance, cake cutting and champagne toast with a small group of guests. After these signature events are done, the wedding party can choose to release their guests or move the celebration to another location of their choosing.
A Mini Wedding allows for the same – ceremony, dances, cake, toasts – but also adds a little more “breathing room,” including about an hour for cocktails and hor’d’voures. These events usually last 3 hours. This literally is a miniature wedding within a very reduced and highly structured timeframe.
We have partnered with some of our favorite venues to make these options available to you. These small celebration options are a perfect fit for those who may have a tighter budget, but want the bells and whistles of a traditional wedding. This is an equally attractive solution for those who may want an intimate day with a larger celebration to come later.
The compact nature of these events usually limits the guest list to 50 people, often less, comprised of mainly family and very close friends. We usually try to do several of these in a day to help make it more cost effective for our clients. If your event date is flexible, even better!

Planning Options

Planning a wedding can be really stressful and even overwhelming. You might have a checklist that you’re checking off one by one, but it seems like the list keeps growing.You have a venue, but no caterer. You have a DJ, but no wedding playlist. It’s a lot! Plus you’re most likely working a full time job.
Or maybe you keep thinking, I’ll do it myself. Example: “I’ll take those ceremony arrangements and use them at the reception.” Or “I’ll just tell the girls when to walk down the aisle.” Except, can’t enjoy your wedding day if you’re handling all the details. It shouldn’t be the responsibility of you, your mom, or your sister to make sure those arrangements get brought to the reception and put in the correct place. This is the job of a the wedding professional, and I don’t mean your mom’s best friend Karen. I mean a real Coordinator who knows what’s coming next and handles problems before you even know there is one. “What catering issue?”
This is where we come in. We have planned and coordinated many weddings.
We have 3 options for our brides for Wedding Management:
Full Service: We walk you through each step of the process, and who knows, maybe you’ll even have a little fun. After preparing a budget and getting to know you, we make recommendations based on those things. We will prepare a design board, create and manage timelines, set up and attend vendor meetings, etc. We will coordinate the wedding rehearsal, as well as the day of the wedding, which will include at least 1 assistant.
Partial Planning: We help you manage your wedding budget, book the remaining vendors, keep you on track with the timeline, as well as coordinate the rehearsal and the day of the wedding, which will include at least 1 assistant. Coordination: About 6 weeks before the wedding we take over. We prepare a day of timeline, contact vendors with final counts and help with the last minute details. Plus we’ll be there on rehearsal day and wedding day to help your wedding party down the aisle.
