When motivation strikes, you run with it. This happened to us when we saw this beautiful Audubon inspired fabric. We wanted to highlight the hidden beauty of our beaches and intercoastal waterways that we, as locals, know and love. With a slight nod to the past, and with the Audubon inspired aspects, our version of a Coastal Wedding features the colors and textures of the sea grasses, stately herons and sun-kissed dunes.
If you know us, you know we love textures. We utilized the textures of the fabrics, florals and local landscape to make this look complete. We also love thinking outside the box and ensuring that the tablescape and atmosphere is visually interesting. Setting this tablescape among the grass covered dunes created the perfect backdrop.
Jordan, PeVee and Ian nailed the photography and videography for this shoot! We almost never focus on events during the middle of the day. We’re always holding out for those “Golden Hour” photos, but working with the midday sun was a new perspective for us. We love the way they captured every element of this look including the shadows which gave our color palette even more depth and texture.
The vendors we worked with on the details portion exceeded our expectations. Works of Harte beautifully executed the invitation suite, cloche for the bar and name cards for our escort wall. Scripted Calling created the words for our escort wall which ended up being our second favorite piece of inspiration for this shoot. Carefully chosen Rentals from Events Styled by Luxe and Sexton Event Co made everything cohesive and complete.
With our bride adorned in a dress from Margaret Ellen Bridal and our groom decked out in a suit from Randall’s, they were the perfect couple for this beachside ceremony. When we moved on to the reception at Ft. Pickens, our couple enjoyed champagne from a champagne wall, and cake along with custom cookies made by Kate’s Cakes.
We are so excited for this styled shoot to be featured TWICE! It’s being published in not only our locally owned Coastal Weddings Magazine but also, Nationwide in Southern Bride Magazine! We loved working with this amazing team of vendors. Thank you all for supporting our crazy ideas and bringing this vision to life!
